All the things are new this week! New characters. New techniques. And I finally got some Bristol board to ink on. This paper is so smooth and durable it is marvelous. I’ve used a variety of paper across the pages of this comic so far. None of them were really intended for ink. In the beginning, I was using some old sketch paper that had a fairly rough surface. It turns out that makes your lines all ragged and fuzzy.

Anyway. With all the changes, I hope this still looks like Detours. We’re still in the same world, I promise. It’s just getting bigger.
