About Comic Detours

The Detours comic is built on a grand, sweeping vision. Draw for fun and experiment along the way. The original charter went something like this:

This comic is me doodling for fun. I started with no characters and no plot. I just make it up as I go. We will see if it turns into anything interesting.

Clearly this powerful guiding mission has been molding every thought and pen-stroke as I’ve labored to bring each page to life. Or, in other words, I do some stuff and see if it turns out.
